WWE has scheduled a live Raw TV event in September
Although WWE’s original plans of hosting events with fans again next month have been put on hold, WWE is still moving forward with the idea.
Before the coronavirus outbreak, WWE had scheduled a SmackDown TV event for Friday, April 17 in Cleveland, Ohio, but it was postponed. Now, WWE has re-scheduled the booking for a live Raw TV event on Monday, September 28.
As a result, this could be one of the first live events with fans in attendance for the company. Since the coronavirus pandemic forced schedule changes back in March, WWE has been taping episodes of their weekly television shows at the Performance Center.
The news was made by the Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse in Cleveland. The message on the website of the arena reads like the following:
The WWE Friday Night SmackDown originally scheduled for Friday, April 17 in Cleveland, OH has been postponed to Monday Night Raw on Monday, September 28. All original tickets will be honored for the rescheduled date.”
Tickets start at $20. The show is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm local time that night.
